The northern part of Egypt around the Nile Delta. It is based on the flow of the River Nile which runs from South to North. It refers to the fertile Nile Delta region, which stretches from the area between El-Aiyat and Zawyet Dahshur, south of modern-day Cairo, and the Mediterranean Sea.
