Yingluck Shinawatra
Yingluck Shinawatra (born 21 June 1967) is a Thai politician and the leader of the Pheu Thai Party. As the younger sister of Thaksin, the former Prime Minister overthrown in a military coup, she rose to fame by becoming the president of property developer SC Asset and managing director of Advanced Info Service, Thailand's largest mobile phone operator.
Born in Chiang Mai, Yingluck earned a bachelors degree from Chiang Mai University and a masters degree from Kentucky State University, both in public administration.
Following the Thai 2011 elections, she becomes the first female Prime Minister to leadthe next government of Thailand.
